Dr. Ritu Singh is Assoc. Prof. in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, College of Home Science, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Uttarakhand, India. She graduated in Home Science from GBPUAT, Uttarakhand in 2000 and joined Punjab Agricultural University, Punjab for her Master’s and PhD in Human Development. After, acquiring her highest degree she joined the present university as Asstt. Prof. in May’06 and since then she is actively engaged in teaching, research, extension and administration activities of the university. Her main areas of teaching are Theories of Human Development, Advances in Lifespan Development and Interventions for Children with Developmental Challenges. Her research focus is on early childhood care and education, adolescent personality and issues and family relationships in the light of contemporary psychological and social issues of the society viz. spirituality, distant relationships, romantic relationships etc. In her area of work she has so far 70 research papers, 11 chapters in edited books and 03 course emodules to her credit. She is also recipient of 06 best paper awards as well as 05 international fellowships. She is on the editorial board/reviewer of few reputed journals, scientific committee member of various national/international conferences, member of professional societies and participated in various national/ international conferences and training programs.

Dr. Margaret Trey is a counsellor by training and holds a doctorate degree in counselling from The University of South Australia. Researcher, journalist, and author of The Mindful Practice of Falun Gong: Meditation for Health, Wellness and Beyond, Dr. Trey is trained in alternative mind-body medicine—in the ancient art of Shiatsu, traditional Chinese medicine, qigong, yoga, and macrobiotics. She also learned Vipassana meditation, popularized in the West as mindfulness practice, directly from a Burmese Buddhist sayadaw. For three decades, Dr. Trey helped countless individuals in diverse nurturing roles—as a lecturer, Shiatsu practitioner and educator, natural health consultant, and life directions counsellor. In 1997, Dr. Trey embarked on her journey with Falun Gong, an ancient Chinese spiritual discipline. She pioneered in research on the health-wellness effects of Falun Gong since 2001. In January 2017, she facilitated two Falun Gong seminars at Xavier University of Louisiana, and thereafter invited to collaborate with the Xavier University, Center for Traumatic Stress Research, to explore the effects Falun Gong on traumatic stress. Since 2016, Dr. Trey has presented on the effects of Falun Gong at various conferences—in Australia, Canada. United States, Singapore, and Thailand.

Dr. Khalid Bazaid is associate professor at Department of Psychiatry, University of Ottawa and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Outpatient Youth Psychiatry Program at Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre.
Dr. Bazaid is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CACAP), the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP), the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and a member and ex-secretary of the Saudi Psychiatric Association (SPA) since it was first established in 2005.
He has served children and adolescents both in the outpatient and inpatient departments regarding Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Depressive Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He served on several scientific committees and social support groups on Child Abuse, ADHD, Autism and Developmental Disabilities.
Dr. Bazaid is the founder and course director of the International Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Review Course and the founder and course coordinator of the intensive Child and Adolescent Psychiatry – Hand On Training Assessment and MSE. He has been published in peer review journals and has presented nationally and internationally. Dr. Mahesh Bhatt is a surgeon, writer, hospital and public health management consultant, speaker, and researcher practicing medicine for the last 25 years in Dehradun (Uttarakhand) India. He is associated with various academic, scientific, and social organizations and institutions involved in research, education, and social development. He is involved in research on Spiritual Health and Spirituality and their role in health and healthcare systems. His work on thought processes and their ecosystem in human brain and function of spiritual thought processes and spirituality in various thoughts of religion, culture, philosophy, and science created a paradigm shift in understanding and defining spirituality in the context of evolutionary biology and neurobiology for broader implications on health, happiness, and wellbeing.

Dr. Venkataramanan Krishnamurthy is Director – Projects & Programs, Share Your Care, Bhaktivedanta Hospital & Research Institute. He serves as a visiting faculty at All India Institute of Local Self Government, Mumbai, Institute of Health Management & Research, Jaipur and other health care institutions.
